V – Bridal Boudoir // Jasemine Denise Photography

One of my models and good friends, V got married recently. The ceremony was small, intimate and beautiful. Before the event, V, a few amazing Queens and myself all got together to celebrate with a sleepover. The next morning, as she was getting ready, V and I shot a bridal boudoir shoot.

V // Bridal Boudoir
Makeup by: Gabbie Johnson

V and I started shooting together around the time she met Ari, her now husband. She told me in the few moments between our shoot that she just knew that was the man she was going to marry. You’ve seen Ari and V here before. They did that super cute boudoir shoot together and everyone simply fell in love with them. Now they’re married forever and I still haven’t stopped squealing.

Picture this.
It’s the morning of V’s wedding. Three girls are buzzing with excitement around her, while I’m chasing them in with the camera. We’re in the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Chicago and truth be told, V is a bit nervous. She’s not nervous about getting married. She knew that was happening. She’s nervous because she wants this to go perfect. I’m a little nervous. I chew on my lip as I step forward, camera clenched in my fingers as I say.. “Hey, Vee. You wanna take your bridal boudoir photos?”

She looks at me then and my heart stops a little. To my surprise, she smiles and says, “Yassss!” before waving her hands back and forth. Gabbie had just done her makeup, her veil is hanging loosely off of her gorgeous fresh buzz and she’s positively glowing.

I’m glad she said yes. I want to document every moment of this.

V is wearing lingerie from What Katie Didand had nothing but kind words to say about how well her lingerie fit her.

Ari and V – Boudoir Photography

Please don’t let Trump confuse you. Trans life still matter. They will always matter. I’m not trying to push my beliefs down you throat, but I wanted to come to you today to show you one of my favorite boudoir photography sessions of all time. You’ve seen V here a hundred times now, but have you met her partner Ari? He is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and this session is one of the dearest ones I hold close to my heart. Some things are just too beautiful not to share.

Ari and V // boudoir photography session

I remember when I first saw the facebook announcement that V had met her match. It seemed quick, but you could also see in the smile of the selfie that she posted that they just knew.

I myself met Ari not too long later, and I saw it clear as day. These two are in love. During the shoot Ari sat in on, he was nothing but kind and down to earth, even screaming “Yassss” every time his partner slayed a look. It never occurred to me that Ari was any different than anyone else, except for the unique way he knew how to scream yasss to gas me up.

In the recent events of politics, I’ve seen a lot of my so-called friends speak dangerously about trans people. Hateful people saying that these human beings, no different from you and I aside from making a choice for their own happiness weren’t allowed to be happy. Why?

Rest assured, I deleted a lot of people that day.

Ari and V are one of the happiest couples I know. Colorful, diverse, constantly smiling.
The only difference between a typical relationship I’d engage in myself and the one that V and Ari share is that would not cover myself in glitter… Not that there’s anything wrong with glitter.

Wait… Yes there is. You can’t get that shit off.
But that has nothing to do with anything.
Glitter is just a mess.
To me.
Not them.
Obviously.

The only difference between you and Ari worth noting are his scars. I’m not talking about the physical ones, but the emotional ones that the nation is trying to drag through his tough skin. Think of what he’s faced, what he’s continuously facing, just to live the life he deserves.

Please remember to think twice before you spread hatred. You could be ruining someone else’s life, their happiness, their lover’s happiness. I can’t imagine working with V and not hearing Ari in the background screaming for his future wife to continue to pursue her dream.

Trans lives still matter.
Trans lives will always matter.
Never Forget.
I stand with Trans people.
I stand with the LGBTQ+* community.
You should too.
We’re people too.

Lovely Lavender Lady // Boudoir Photography

I shot Vera Dureke for the first time about three years ago. Standing at Anime Central at a meetup, she brought to my attention that we had known each other this long. This got me to thinking about the boudoir photography session we did last year that was literally a replicated homeage of one we’d done a year before. I knew at that very moment that I just had to release this photoshoot.

Lovely Lavender Lady // Boudoir Photography

She is lovely like lavender,
soft like sheets,
pure like love
crazy like me.

This boudoir photography session is one of many I’ve had with Vera and if you’d like to see more of our photoshoots together, make sure you subscribe to the blog! We have another boudoir party coming up in August and although it’s already sold out (I still can’t believe it), you can witness all the behind the scenes live as they happen by following me on Instagram. If you want to book a boudoir photography session yourself, you can book one any time through Jasemine Denise Photography’s booking form! <3

Until next time, keep it alluring.

Kris Kittie | Philadelphia Boudoir Photography

Krista, better known as her internet moniker, Kris Kittie walked into the hotel we rented for our Philadelphia Boudoir photography session and I’m pretty sure my life changed the moment the door closed. She embraced me gently, told me how she was looking forward to this for a long time, how nervous she felt and then away she went to get ready. She had brought several outfits. She was more prepared than I’ve ever been for a shoot in my life. Watch as the amazing Kris Kittie slays her first boudoir photography session with Jasemine Denise Photography.

Krista had brought about three or four outfits, unsure of which one to bring. Oddly enough for me, I had just laid out all of the clothes I’d brought for the weekend on the bed opposite the one she was about to shoot on. Yeah, I get dressed about ten minutes before most of the shoots I shoot. I’m wearing gold accents, a red crop top I had just bought from Charlotte Rouse that morning and a beret. It was my first time meeting Krista, and I wanted to make sure I looked good for selfies that I knew we would be taking. As she perused the items I’d had laid out as choices for myself, her eyes lit up. “This corset is gorgeous,” She whispered, the impressed sound of her tone causing me to smirk a bit.

“Wanna borrow it for one of your looks?” I asked, which was strange because I almost never assumed anyone would wear my clothes. She squealed, actually squealed in this cute way I had only heard in 90s cartoons and we set to work lacing her into it. It took no time at all. In seconds, the batteries to the camera were geared up, and without looking up I asked.. “Ready?” Still fiddling with the settings on my T5i, I aimed the viewfinder toward the bed she was set to shoot in, and in seconds… I was floored. Gone was the nervous Princess, here was a QUEEN and this shoot was her slaying grounds.

The gorgeous Kris Kittie is kicking off a Patreon soon and while she’s working on that, you can get your hands on one of her gorgeous Polaroids from this session. I don’t host a lot of Philadelphia boudoir photography sessions but I’m hoping to come back and shoot this gorgeous woman again! With all her energy and kindness, it’s a wonder this was my first time.

It gets better!

She has prints from this session on sale in her StoreEnvy. You can get your hands on a very limited edition signed Polaroid from the model! They’re exclusive and all signed by the lovely bubbly lady herself.

You can follow this gorgeous lady on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook!

Don’t touch that Dial!

Jasemine Denise Photography will be right back with more photoshoots, including a few more looks from this Queen!

Mr. And Mrs. Neko // Chicago Boudoir Photographer

My favorite part of being a Chicago boudoir photographer is that I encounter a lot of different boudoir sessions. I meet people who want boudoir shoots for confidence, for expression, for their lover, and with their lover. I don’t get to do too many couple’s boudoir shoots but when I do, they tend to go a long way. I love getting to see different people bring a different message to the art… Something in the way their body moves or their eyes stare makes every single boudoir session just a little bit different.

This particular session is one that I hold very dear to me. So many people are afraid to admit that their sexual lifestyle liberates them. There are many different forms of liberation. This particular session focuses on the consent of a woman to be constrained or controlled. Disclaimer: The themes discussed in this article are unsuitable for anyone under 18. Read at your own risk.

When a man speaks to you,
how does he speak to you?
Does he speak with his eyes?
Does he speak with his lips?

When he touches you,
does he touch you with his hands?
or does he touch you with his soul?

When he looks into your eyes..
Is he looking at you?
Or is he looking through you?
Does he see you for all that you are
Does he see you for all that you’re worth?

Honey,
What if I told you that you could have both? Have you ever been liberated by the feeling that you are in control of the way that you are controlled. Your mother taught you to be strong, your father taught you to submit, but you felt as though you could find comfort in both?

How many times have your friends told you that taking a walk on the dark side was wrong? How many times have you felt bound by your lifestyle until the moment you fell into his arms, and heard his voice? Not all darkness is binding and not all bindings are prison. Sometimes, there is balance in releasing inhibitions and giving into something you can’t dare explain.

A woman is a powerful and beautiful creature. She can do many things from create life to escape death.. She is the overcomer of oppression and the bringer of joy. When a woman yields her power to a man, she is not a prisoner. She is a summoner. She brings forth in him his inner King. She is a Queen, and their love is her throne. Next time you are ashamed of the love you share behind closed doors, remember that there is power in liberation.

Kali Neko // + The Team

You’ve seen the amazing Kali Neko here many times before. Most of the time that you’ve seen her, however, she’s been in cosplay. Infamously, she’s been notorious for her Dark Link cosplay which was so much fun to shoot. If you stick around, you’ll get to see some crazy shoots we’ve done together. All you have to do is subscribe to the blog. Additionally, you could follow her on Instagram, pledge your support on Patreon, or like her on Facebook.

Her makeup was done by the amazing Gabbie Johnson.

Nora x Super Orange Photoshoot

When I first heard of Super Orange, I heard about how sold out everything always was because it was just that good. The owner is this rad person who travels from convention to convention selling limited edition wear and I was impressed as a fellow business owner. Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated nor paid by Super Orange to “endorse” their products. Hell, I don’t even own any of the apparel yet because it just sells out that fast! Anyway, when Nora pitched the concept of a Pillow Princess Super Orange Photoshoot, I couldn’t say no… Hell, I even suggested throwing in a velvet Pentagram SKG harness just to spice it up.

Remember: This photo session is a part of the boudoir collection meaning that the subject may be a bit less clothed than you’re used to. (Click here to be reminded about what boudoir photography is all about..) Nora’s hair in this session was styled by the Shear King himself, Brandon Ivy.

Intro To Boudoir Photography Section

There’s a new series of photos arriving at JDcom and the section shows off the art of boudoir photography. Now, I am by no means a boudoir photographer and I’m definitely not a boudoir model. (You’ve seen me try though, right?) Anyway, I have been waiting for almost a full year to start releasing this series but I wanted to answer some questions first for my fellow photographers. If you’re thinking about trying it, don’t hesitate. Corrine  was the one who inspired me. Continue Reading

Kage and Saint // Chicago Boudoir Session

Passion is not transparent.

There aren’t too many sessions that I get genuinely emotional about but this one is one of them. When I announced my first boudoir session booking ever, Saint was one of the first women to respond. She was eager and being a modeling duo alongside her boyfriend, she wanted to share this first with him. Truthfully, I didn’t know what to expect hosting a Chicago boudoir session. I wanted everyone to feel comfortable. Kage was a bit uneasy and naturally, I suggested backing out immediately. Yet, he said no. He wanted to share this with his girlfriend.
