If you already know me, you know I love Weave N Luxury and think Rayshone is so amazing that I sing her praise constantly. However, I don’t think I’ve ever taken the time out to tell you why I love Weave N Luxury. This Fan Friday, I share the greatness that is WNL with you by telling you about my stunning transformation.
When I first was introduced to Weave N Luxury it was because I was doing a Punk Storm cosplay and I was nervous. It was a three way collab between myself, Rayshone and Justina the owner of SKG Designs. It turned out to be amazing and honestly, turned my style life around. Suddenly, I was checking out wigs all the time!
As the year winded down, finances took a plummet, I was devastated because Rayshone offers a wig upkeep service to her Diamond Squad clients and while I had achieved Diamond status, I wasn’t exactly the kind of woman who could maintain upkeep on my wigs. So needless to say, I had to let go of a favorite. Over time, as I pushed my focus toward work, I would occasionally see Rayshone’s videos on my youtube feed.. completely forgetting that this woman is one of many talents.
One day, I clicked one, a tutorial on how to dye a wig the way my purple one exactly.. I quickly looked at a wig she had created for me, but that I had sense neglected because I had two pink wigs now..
The first two photos are the original wig, the last is the original purple Weave N Luxury wig created especially for me. Both wigs are made of human hair which made this transformation possible.
Without much thought, I paused the video, grabbed the wig, returned to my seat and earnestly watched the tutorial. Now, honestly.. I know nothing of tutorials. I’m the girl who can watch one, follow the directions to the tee, and still ruin it.. I simply cannot cook for this exact reason. However, as Rayshone’s voice poured through my airpods explaining the materials and what I’d need, I felt at ease. It was as if the owner of Weave N Luxury herself was chatting these instructions to me over brunch.
Although my Weave N Luxury wigs are without a doubt one of my most prideful purchases, I took the risk of dying this wig with a bottle of Orchid Tintation and following Rayshone’s directions to dye it, clean it, and also install it back onto my head.
It took an hour and a half, (an hour of that was following the wand curl tutorial) but the wig in my hands was brand new again.
The playlist is full of amazing tutorials that really made my wig feel brand new… Here’s the direct link to the ones I used, in case you’re feeling experimental yourself!
