It’s very seldom that I photograph something outside of people. People are my passion. They have life, they have emotion, and they have substance. I was never one for the city of Chicago. The hustle and bustle of it was just too much for me. People crash into you downtown, they make a bunch of noise, they drive you up a wall, and they never apologize. It took me years to realize that I have become one of those people.
If you live in Chicago, very seldom downtown are you taking “nature/architecture” walks. We’re too busy trying to take that run down the stairs of the subway that we’re not focused on all the beauty therein. There’s a lot of substance to be seen within the confines of steel rails and street lights. The theme of this walk was lights and sounds. As you look at each picture envision the sounds of the environment they came from.
So, why did you guys think? What did you hear? Did you like what you see? You should probably take a photo walk too and if you have already, let me see your shots! Feel free to post a photo or a link to some photos below! I can’t wait to see them!
Until next time,
