[dropcap]H[/dropcap]appy Halloween week, Kings and Queens! I’m so stoked to be here with you! You guys remember Jill right? She was the badass writer who I interviewed a while back about her book The Good Soldier? Well, she’s back with the most epic comeback a writer could probably make… She is…
Michonne From The Walking Dead
Cosplay by Jill Robi featuring Chelsea Alexis as Sasha.
So Jill is a lot of things. She’s a writer, she’s a comedian (Seriously, she cracks me up), she’s an actress, and my personal favorite… She’s a fan girl. When she first started telling me about her love for The Walking Dead, it caught me be surprise. We’re both huge Buffy fans and that’s kind of where our friendship started but shortly after listening to her talk about her love for the ship Richonne, it became clear that this… This was next level.
Are you ready?
Will Michonne and Sasha make it out alive?
The world may never know… I can promise you that Jill and her sister made it out unharmed. Not only that, but you can find her in all her amazing glory on her blog, her Twitter and even through clicking either of the links below and buying one of her highly coveted novels.
Until next time… here’s some adorable behind the scenes gifs of Jill.
Chicago! Winter is coming so freaking fast. I’m not even ready yet, so I’m gonna take it back to the summer when everything was bright. The much awaited return of the alternative model and cosplayer ChristinexCarter is here. Watch as she brings us back to the summer with everyone’s beloved Pokemon Trainer, Misty!

[dropcap]L[/dropcap]et me start off by saying if you don’t know Kali Neko by now, you should check out our shoots together. She’s very talented and notorious for putting her own tasteful spin on all of her cosplays. She’s done Blair from Soul Eater, she’s done a fanart version of Cat Woman and today it’s Dark Link. Heads up! This is a test session, also known as a mini session. It’s meant to be short. The lighting will also be much better in the full upcoming session.

As Autumn comes to a close in Chicago, I excitedly reminisce on the season we’ve had. That season includes an adorable Hatsune Miku Cosplay done by Brittany Catherine. If you’ve never heard of Hatsune Miku, you should most definitely check out the game Persona 4 which I’m actually only familiar with because I used to watch my friend Ashley. Hatsune Miku is most widely known as a Vocaloid (which I’m still trying to learn about). She would play it every time she was around me. It was entertaining… almost as entertaining as a real life Brittany prancing around a forrest in her Hatsune Miku Cosplay. Note: This is a test session! It is not meant to be full length!
[dropcap]H[/dropcap]appy Halloween you guys! This photoshoot has been published in Pump Magazine, issue 42. Don’t forget to check out other published photoshoots that Jasemine Denise Photography has been so lucky to be a part of! This shoot is especially special because it is the first publication for both myself and Pokahontas and what are the odds that it’d be a genderbent Jack Skellington cosplay. It’s her favorite character after all. Buy a copy because we’re big and bold on page 42! Continue Reading
In a land far far away called “the south side of Chicago”, a very skilled cosplayer by the name Kali has transformed yet another awesome cosplay. Last time, it was Catwoman but this time it’s a Soul Eater Cosplay! So, imagine little 4’11 me frolicking the fields of Chicago with a Blair behind me. For those of you who don’t know Kali, she has folders upon folders dwelling in her Facebook where she showcases patterns she’s created and step-by-step progression shots showing off each and every intricate design she’s created from scratch!
So frolic forward with Blair!
