Ari and V – Boudoir Photography

Please don’t let Trump confuse you. Trans life still matter. They will always matter. I’m not trying to push my beliefs down you throat, but I wanted to come to you today to show you one of my favorite boudoir photography sessions of all time. You’ve seen V here a hundred times now, but have you met her partner Ari? He is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and this session is one of the dearest ones I hold close to my heart. Some things are just too beautiful not to share.

Ari and V // boudoir photography session

I remember when I first saw the facebook announcement that V had met her match. It seemed quick, but you could also see in the smile of the selfie that she posted that they just knew.

I myself met Ari not too long later, and I saw it clear as day. These two are in love. During the shoot Ari sat in on, he was nothing but kind and down to earth, even screaming “Yassss” every time his partner slayed a look. It never occurred to me that Ari was any different than anyone else, except for the unique way he knew how to scream yasss to gas me up.

In the recent events of politics, I’ve seen a lot of my so-called friends speak dangerously about trans people. Hateful people saying that these human beings, no different from you and I aside from making a choice for their own happiness weren’t allowed to be happy. Why?

Rest assured, I deleted a lot of people that day.

Ari and V are one of the happiest couples I know. Colorful, diverse, constantly smiling.
The only difference between a typical relationship I’d engage in myself and the one that V and Ari share is that would not cover myself in glitter… Not that there’s anything wrong with glitter.

Wait… Yes there is. You can’t get that shit off.
But that has nothing to do with anything.
Glitter is just a mess.
To me.
Not them.
Obviously.

The only difference between you and Ari worth noting are his scars. I’m not talking about the physical ones, but the emotional ones that the nation is trying to drag through his tough skin. Think of what he’s faced, what he’s continuously facing, just to live the life he deserves.

Please remember to think twice before you spread hatred. You could be ruining someone else’s life, their happiness, their lover’s happiness. I can’t imagine working with V and not hearing Ari in the background screaming for his future wife to continue to pursue her dream.

Trans lives still matter.
Trans lives will always matter.
Never Forget.
I stand with Trans people.
I stand with the LGBTQ+* community.
You should too.
We’re people too.
